Ongoing projects regarding the prevalence of Salmonella Dublin in dairy farms across Pennsylvania.

We are actively looking for farmers to participate in this study.

Several ongoing projects involving the microbiome of ruminants, specifically cattle. Microbiome locations studied vary including respiratory,  reproductive, and gut microbiomes.

Poultry Microbiome

Ongoing projects regarding the microbiome of turkeys and broilers. Different feeding regimens are given to the birds and data on the microbiomes of these birds is obtained.

Equine Reproductive Microbiome

One of our graduate students is a veterinary specialist in equine reproductive medicine. She uses her knowledge to research the reproductive microbiome of horses.
