Longitudinal characterization and comparison of the use of different feeding strategies on broilers gut microbiome in a randomized controlled trial. Two studies have been done on this, a small one with around 300 birds and a much larger one with around 3,000 birds.

Direct-fed microbials (DFM) and their presence in the environment (boot sock swabs) and cloacal swabs of turkeys. There were 6 feeding regimens and two groups of birds.
