Not much is known about the reproductive microbiome of horses. Veterinary theriogenologist, Dr. Lection is extremely interested in the horse reproductive microbiome because of her clinical background. Her research works to characterize the microbiome in normal horses and horses with clinical endometritis, a common reproductive issue.
